Job Overview: Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients across various settings. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals of all ages through improved communication skills.

Responsibilities: 
– Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
– Develop personalized treatment plans to address the unique needs of each patient.
– Administer therapy sessions to enhance speech, language, and swallowing functions.
– Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
– Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
– Educate patients and their families on strategies to support communication development.
– Stay abreast of the latest advancements in speech therapy techniques and technologies.

Experience: Speech-Language Pathology
– Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
– Active Ohio state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
– Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is advantageous.
– Prior experience working with medical terminology, critical care, pediatric populations, school settings, case management, and hospital environments is preferred.
– Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
– Compassionate approach towards patient care and rehabilitation.

Duties
