Edu Aids is seeking for dedicated Special Education Paraprofessionals to join our team for our school sites in California. As a Special Education Paraprofessional, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs in their educational journey. Duties

• Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Support classroom teachers in creating and maintaining a positive learning environment.
• Provide one-on-one assistance to students with disabilities to help them achieve academic goals.
• Collaborate with educators and parents to address the unique needs of each student.
• Help students develop social skills and positive behaviors through guidance and reinforcement.
• Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with the teaching team.
  

Skills

• Experience in childcare or working with children in an educational setting.
• Knowledge of preschool curriculum development and childhood development principles.
• Familiarity with behavior management techniques for students with special needs.
• Proficiency in American Sign Language is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
• Previous experience in a private school setting is advantageous.
